About to spend a week with my tribe birdwatching in Kruger National Park. We know from past experience it can take us hours to travel only a few kilometres 😂

Yes, baffled by the Guardian headline: ‘crowds were so huge, lives could have been lost’. Wouldn’t have thought something that didn’t happen was the most newsworthy angle on the march. Cops and journos seem disappointed.

Unfortunately most of the American people are not listening. They’ll only understand once it bites them personally, and by then it will be too late.

Boomer Democrats need to make way for the next generations. The times require new blood, new thinking, new passions

I think Trump is dumb enough to think you do just drop some bombs and Iran will not retaliate but negotiate. He has the attention span of a 3yo so will get bored within a few weeks, and resentful when coffins of US soldiers start arriving home, and start whining because ‘who knew war was so hard’

Hi Big T, farmers in the northern Basin have been capturing a relatively small proportion of water flooding over plains for many decades. In 2023, NSW for the first time regulated the practice, requiring licences and metering, cutting back take by about 1/3, and making farmers pay for the water, too

Exactly. And deflect attention from his failure to find the trillions in DOGE savings he promised would pay for the tax cuts. Now he wants us to think he cares about the deficit? Fuck you, Elon.
June 4, 2025 at 2:23 AM
I’m all in for watching Elon and the Administration now tear each other apart. Hopefully some good comes of it, as you say.
June 4, 2025 at 2:19 AM
It did succeed in doing that, but Elon failed on his own terms boasting he would save trillions of dollars. Now US is suffering only the downside and it’s a bit rich for Elon to make out he niw cares about the deficit, when his DOGE fantasy cost more in $ than it saved.
