Disclaimer: I was indifferent towards Fourth Wing and disliked Iron Flame
I read this with few expectations and it blew them all out of the water. Significant improvement! Most of my gripes are personal preference.

An Honored Vow by Melissa Blair final book on the Halfling Saga.
A beautiful ending, there were a couple loose ends but they make sense to leave open ended. I loved it overall.

The Songbird & the Heart of Stone by Carissa Broadbent book 3 of the crowns of Nyaxia series.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ I enjoyed reading from Mische's POV, the romance was so subtle it was more like they were becoming friends then first which was refreshing. Ghost/skeleton dog is the best girl.
