You've met the people that live here right?? I mean we re-elected him after his impeachment case...don't even get me started on everyone else this fucking state has elected and re-elected when we had better options.

On a broader, more philosophical point, I feel like this country never really experienced the growing/learning ...enlightenment if you will that Europe went through organically--we never had a real revolution vs the govt or bombs dropped on US soil (aside from Pearl Harbor).

Here's the thing, I'm not going door knocking in a state where I'm pretty likely to be shot for knocking on said door. The problem is getting the registered voters to the polls. We need to understand why they aren't voting.
Also, we need to teach government better in school. Kids need to care.

It did however cause my state, Texas, to pass all kinds of laws vs protesting and also allowing cars to run you over...so

I'm old enough to recall the last time he was president. We protested everything, every year, all year long...it accomplished nothing. No press coverage. He brought the military out vs BLM. Nothing changed. See 2 failed impeachments and the SC making him king. Until he protest like the French...
