You've met the people that live here right?? I mean we re-elected him after his impeachment case...don't even get me started on everyone else this fucking state has elected and re-elected when we had better options.

On a broader, more philosophical point, I feel like this country never really experienced the growing/learning ...enlightenment if you will that Europe went through organically--we never had a real revolution vs the govt or bombs dropped on US soil (aside from Pearl Harbor).

Have you read this?? Apparently it's a long series of books about the same main characters but I just picked up this one. I enjoyed it a lot without having read the other books in the series.

I feel like I read a lot of words about 2 unconnected people and their problems but never really got to the end of the story despite finishing the book. I get it, it's a series but usually you feel like something got accomplished and finished when you end a book. #booksky ⭐⭐
