Hubbell's article is myopic. He claims that the Constitution "survived" when we classified so many of our citizens as second class citizens. This needs to be a case of show, not tell. I'm skeptical that you will really fight for things like our social security when most of your campaign financing is PACs and rich donors. Dems need to show their constituents that they will really fight for the people who depend on social security.

I agree the best time to do something was sometime in at least the last 30 years. However, the second best time is now. We cannot accept that Dems are "powerless"; that gives them an easy out. They need to understand the old rule book they are still following has gone out the window.
