B.C. Ostrich Farm has deleted its website while claiming 400 diseased exotic birds in captivity are just 'pets' to dodge CFIA culling. But their own site showed the birds were sold for poultry, squeezed for oils, and pet food.

As shots ring out at a BC ostrich farm, let us not forget that millions of birds have been routinely “depopulated” in horrific ways all across the country, due to being farmed for food … just as these ostriches were once, too.

Even with Americans expected to spend over $13 billion on candy for Halloween, candy companies still end up with a surplus. Some of these leftovers are sold to meat and dairy producers, who in turn add it to their animal feed. @jesslsr.bsky.social explains:
