Both were eventually published, but not at the venues that sat on them for months and months. It took about a year in each case for me to finally pull the plug, but I should/could have seen well before that that their processes were dysfunctional!

This has happened to me twice and both times I waited when I should have withdrawn. I’d advise to withdraw and move on to a reliable journal.

Just because teaching Hume helped with this in the past is no reason to think teaching Hume would have any impact now
