Today, May 29th, is the anniversary of Sojourner Truth delivering her "Ain't I A Woman?" speech to the Ohio Women’s Convention here in Akron, Ohio.

Last year, a plaza dedicated to her was unveiled.

And this year marks the inaugural Sojourner Truth Day in Akron.
