As someone who studies conservatism, I wonder if Nick has reacted to Candace in this way bc although they have the same ideology, he can’t fathom a black woman entering this space. Essentially, white conservatives will still hold racist POVs toward black conservatives.

It still shows the same thing I’m saying, the majority of black people are socially conservative. They can’t look past the fact that he’s gay.

Maybe my sarcasm didn’t come through well enough. That’s my fault. I thought the exclamation marks were enough. The part about a certain level of medical freedom was true, bc as a black woman I see the benefits of that. But the part about antivaxx being “great for them” was tongue in cheek.

I’m someone wants to be antivaxx…fine! Great for them! I believe everyone should have a certain extent of medical freedom. However, spreading falsehoods does more damage than these people think. This went well beyond someone deciding not vaccine themselves. It’s so sick and sad!

As a gun owner, this is why I believe there should be strict regulations before buying a gun. Along with harder crackdowns on the illegal/underground gun market. Sick, conspiratorial idiots are killing hurting innocent people. This is so sad!

I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it: white liberals are often more racist than white conservatives. I would argue that it’s a more disrespectful racism too bc they use subtle racism and micro aggressions.
