Apropos of nothing in particular, here's James Carville on election night 2018 saying there would be no blue wave. And as a reminder, we produced the largest midterm margins in the history of the republic that night. www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2018/1...
Carville: "It's Not Going To Be A Wave Election" For Democrats, It's "Dissipating"
James Carville said the Democrats will not have a wave election in the 8pm hour of MSNBC's election night coverage. He said there is still a good chance that Democrats win the House but some races will be nail-biters. "There was some hope the Democrats would have a wave election. It's not going to be a wave election," Carville said. "It could still be a good election. You know, there's a lot of trauma left in Florida, and some of the stuff out of Texas that Carnegie put up particularly Williamson County, I thought was encouraging." "I see the chances of a wave kind of dissipating every time I see something on the board," Carville said. JAMES CARVILLE: Well, 2016, I sat between Chuck Todd and Hugh Hewitt. Chuck Todd said Hillary was running ahead of Obama in Prince William [County] in Virginia and Hillsborough [County] in Florida and I said, 'great.' Hugh Hewitt said Upshot said 65% chance that Trump wins Florida and I knew right there, and the blood did go out of my face. Tonight, there was some hope the Democrats would have a wave election. It's not going to be a wave election. It could still be a good election. You know, there's a lot of trauma left in Florida, and some of the stuff out of Texas that Carnegie put up particularly Williamson County, I thought was encouraging. It's still a lot of politics left. But I will wait and see, hopefully the Democrats get the House back. I was a little more optimistic about Florida than it's turned out to be and I think we're in for a nail biter in a lot of places tonight... I think they're going to do well in some of these suburban seats, you know. Places like North Carolina, some of them in Georgia will do well, pick ups in Texas. But the aspiration that they pick up a lot of seats doesn't seem like it's coming to fruition. A lot of them will be close. Still a good chance that the Democrats win the House. But I see the chances of a wave kind of dissipating every time I see something on the board.

Download the 5 Calls app, which has a call script for this. Patel has vowed to seek legal prosecution against Trump‘s “enemies” instead of upholding the rule of law and the Constitution.
UPDATE: The Senate vote on Kash Patel’s nomination was moved to later this week. That means you’ve got more time to get in touch with your senators and tell them to vote NO on Trump’s dangerous pick for FBI director.

Instead of cutting funding for cancer research, how about Trump slash medication prices in the U.S.? This is what my cancer medication costs for one month. I can only afford it with insurance and co-pay assistance.

Google's parent company has dropped its promise not to use AI to develop weapons and surveillance tools that can “cause overall harm."

Autonomous weaponry and mass surveillance.

Technologists warned us that AI will wipe out humanity. I never imagined humanity would use it to wipe out itself.

The “5 Calls” app is awesome. It makes calling my representatives so much easier.

If you’re super busy or exhausted but want to take action, I highly recommend downloading it!

PS - If your representative’s voicemail is full, try one of the non-DC offices.
