Leftist, anti-racist NJ mom and working on my MSW in healing intergenerational trauma. Recovering lawyer. LGBTQ+ advocate.
Signs of spring in my house: more fresh fruit, hibiscus tea, colorful flowers. All are inspiring me to burn down the capitalist patriarchy.

Vote-a-Rama tonight. Just so everyone is clear, Trump stole 10% out of the stock market and everyone’s retirement account and now his Senate is planning on passing the largest wealth transfer in history to the billionaires.

Lying liars and the lies they tell. We’ve known for years that Trump et al. will say anything to get what they want. Literally no one is surprised.
A senior IRS HR staffer said in a sworn affidavit that her office “did not review or consider” any probationary employees’ job performance or conduct. Nor did the Treasury Department. “I know this because this fact was discussed openly in meetings.”

Target boycott has reduced 10% of their store traffic (per Fortune) and their stock price is down 10%. Amazon stock lost 7% this month (S&P -1.7%). Costco is up more than 10%. We can do better. If you can’t boycott, spend less. The people have power, and right now, consumer power is hard at work.

He didn’t just fire the heads of the military branches because he didn’t like them. He fired them because they took an oath to defend the Constitution over Trump. This is a seizure of the military to limit a potential defensive coup and empower him to ignore court rulings against him.

That’s right. Doge’s website was slapped together without security and contained classified info.
Incompetence in Washington puts every American at risk, no matter how you voted. No one should be happy that the DOGE team - the same folks who randomly published classified U.S. security information online today - wants access to your bank account & Social Security numbers.
