I'll be giving the keynote this evening at the exhibit opening of "Women Making History," which includes the stories of women coal miners and how they organized. You can tour the exhibit starting at 5pm, remarks at 6pm.

The Waffle House is so much more than a chain of diners in the South. It’s an ad hoc social support system and a beloved institution. That labor organizing has come to Waffle House feels like real social change to me. Remarkable.
