Can confirm, terrified semi-feral cats do make excellent pets. This is Theo after six months in a calm, friendly home. He still needs private Theo time, but gets more and more relaxed every day, and it’s so great to watch.

Here are my Mabels, Sam (orange) and Theo (annoyed).
And orange and white cat sprawls semi-gracefully on his back, fluffy tummy and beans on full display, but with his tail modestly covering his bits. A tabby cat is giving the camera a dirty look while curled in tight circle in a round bed at the top of a beige cat tree. He looks like a very annoyed cinnamon roll.

I have always loved Grumpet, and when my beloved Boriscat got tired of all this nonsense and passed away, I was inspired by him and adopted two bonded brothers, one of which, I was warned, was antisocial a desperately unhappy, but just needed patience. Here he is one week in.

If you have ever considered adopting a bonded pair of adult cats, I strongly recommend it. The naps are very luxurious.
