This is what live theaters everywhere need to be doing. Create humor with relevant memes, platform the smarties who are obsessed with their jobs and their art, break down cool moments in history that correlate with the show. Get them in the door and then give them the best night of their lives.

Ya’ll I LOVE horror movies. I host a horror movie live show every month. And the vampires of it all Twas literally the last thing I found out about this movie - despite it arguably being the best vampire movie of all time, I bought my ticket well before I knew what it was about.

From there, I found the video of Ryan breaking down aspect ratios and film stock. And you KNOW I’m in for anyone nerding out that deeply on their craft. And of course doing live broadcast in theatre means I am interested. So now, I have *three* very strong ways in to wanting to go see this movie…

I’m thrilled and terrified, but at the end of the day, all the complexities reduce down to incredible moments birthing a show in a rehearsal room — and setting it up to reach as many people as possible.

Shows that go through our journey will have 6 developmental steps, licensable digital assets, options to adapt into other digital mediums ahead of Broadway and a partner in us to help bridge the gap between the in-person and digital side of their business.

That means a new business model that doesn’t pit a producing entity against the artists. It requires us to put people and planet at the center of our biz and it requires the artists to start learning how to run an IP business.

I started using Superhuman in beta and was a little on the fence as to the cost - but boy I’ve never been happier to hang on to a product I early adopted. Raul and his team are doing a bang up job of thoughtful, useful features!
