I wonder if it could've done more about showing how to the two species integrate with each other instead of every now and then there is Zentradi fighting. We see some have their own town and there struggles but no real effort to address other than saying "try again guys".

Maybe if was only in the view of the first 5 episodes I could see an actual discussion but there are like 31 other episodes to work with it just ain't real to me man.

Minmay felt more like a concept then an actual option in this triangle. Calling this a love triangle feels so disingenuous when it's a coughing baby versus a hydrogen bomb.

Like cmon dude I did not need to see this love triangle go on longer than it did. Misa bros I don't know what battles you've been fighting but like are you telling the alternative was MINMAY. LIKE ARE WE FOR REAL. I better not find Asuka/Rei level discussions about this dude I would explode.

The kid who took Shiro's name reminds me of the "first of all, I am Vegeta. second of all, you're not Vegeta. Third of all, you wanna be Vegeta, but you can't be Vegeta, because I am Vegeta." bit like I could not take the kid seriously.

8th MS Team felt fine at first but the whole love plot again just didn't work for me. Feels a tad forced, I could see given how Aina and Shiro meet but after that it just didn't work for me. The last episode I did not remember at all and was kinda on board with it...

about the addendums that came afterward. Bask still looks silly. And the whole Jamitov letting this happens also was silly and just "hey lets give the Titan's a reason" outside of the mentions in Zeta Gundam.
November 17, 2025 at 7:12 PM
ending up being a Titan's origin story was not needed imo. It just helps gives the results of this whole story some meaning in the wider U.C.. Burning's death kinda felt forced idk. The episode gave him death flags talking about him retiring. Cima's betrayal makes no since if you don't know...

Stardust Memory felt like it was fine for a few episodes and then fell apart when they went to space. I cannot simply vibe with the idea that Nina fell with Kou other than he "pilot robot good". Their little squabble before the FB was dumb. The overall moving parts was fine but honestly this...

I remember the Youtube premiers at like 7 a.m.. We were ALWAYS there. And do not @ me about Hathaway as it has not finished. The first movie was good no doubt in my mind but I rather judge it as a whole when it is finished.

it's nice to lower the "powerlevel" so to speak by getting rid of would be cycle of "wait for the moon". I think it's neat that they were willing this relatively early in the show's plot as well.

Also I like how the episode titles are quotes from the episodes. Don't know why but I just do.

Where the shows ends at episode 10 is the GX being totaled. And I know the X Divider is coming up I do appreciate what feels like them removing the Sword of Damocles from the equation for a bit before the Double X appears. I do think it was creative to use the microwave on the lake but...

But I do think my memory on the Frost Brothers being weak antagonists is still supported at this moment. Nothing wrong with them just being petty about losing, but unless something changes it's hard to seem them one of the big bads the shows has them become by the end.

Second the characters. While it's too soon to say too much about them because my memory is hazy from the last watch but I do feel we got a good grasp on everyone. They feel like a decent cast and while Garrod has some room to grow, it is nice they pay mind that he's has to adjust from being a loner.

Is it reasonable to think we would still have such large forests still around or even drinkable water. We are 15 years after all the colonies were dropped but is it so easy to say the world in a decent condition so soon. Maybe Fallout has warped my mind on that who knows.
July 21, 2025 at 9:40 PM
We some settlements and abandoned facilities but also like a bustling metropolis. I don't think the colonies where dropped on every square footage of Earth but also like it wasn't terrible either. And maybe a lack of scientific knowledge on my part doesn't help but...

First the setting. I think it's cool to put us in a time frame after a major event so warping that you can see the Earth so disfigured from it. But at the same time I feel hard to see it as a near extinction level event because I feel that's what's shown to us in the "Here's the 7th Space War".

That leaves Heero. So before rewatching I just remembered small bits of him being a stoic and the meme image of course. But like by the end I don't really know much about him or any of the Gundam pilots about what they believe in other than no more Earth based oppression and we make it work.

Duo definitely has the most personality but that's kinda it. God of Death yadada. Biggest thing was finding Howard I guess but Howard is his own problem.
July 15, 2025 at 1:21 AM
But then he is made out to be the glue of the group and to be fair he probably is the least psychopathic out of the group. But like it only really matters in the end because the story demands that all the 5 gundam pilots work together to save the day.

Speaking of the Quatre crashout. So like I'm not unconvinced that Quatre basically goes crazy after basically having the group of people he was fighting for say "screw you" first and killing his dad. But also like he was just blowing up colonies without any regard and kinda brushes it off later no?
