Just finished the OG Macross TV show and man it felt like we were doing good, the Earth blew up, and then it kept going and I thought that was interesting to actually show what everything looks like after the "final battle" and then it just nose dived for me.

Going through again all the Gundam OVAs that came out in the 80s and 90s and we got some highs and lows. No notes for War In The Pocket. I think it is a great story for a smaller scope in the grander OYW. Al and Burnie's story is simple yet enough for me to feel back about Burnie's fate.

I think there is a truth we have to admit to ourselves here that Re:Rise was the last Gundam show that we had that was good from start to finish. Had good developed characters and a good story within it's relatively short runtime and importantly did not fumble the ending nor did it feel rushed.

After War Gundam X Pogchamp After War Gundam X Pogchamp.
First 10 episodes down and maybe I was just wrong but I feel the start is the best out of the G, Wing, X trilogy here. But that doesn't mean it is perfect either just that I think it gets the ball rolling better than those two.

I have finished the Gundam Wing part of the rewatch and I must say it really is ass. Of course we are talking the crappy ass story. Keep in mind my immediate thoughts on this is not including Endless Waltz because I'll either watch it after X or while I'm in there.

So I've been rewatching all the Gundam series again after so long and starting Wing is so funny. I only first saw this show as a teenager in high school now I can still think it is hot ass. Like the "I'll kill you" part of episode 1 is so weird and still hilarious in context.

HG Demi Barding and Narrative Gundam are now both done. While I do have plenty of time to build another one I rather plan out the Feb project which will be a paint job instead of an MG/RG month.

Starting off with the first build of the new year, the HG Narrative Gundam. Trying to get this out of the way before the MG Ver. Ka comes out. This is part of my goal to lower the backlog better. 2023 was not a great year of building for me, didn't get around to do much of it. (1/?)
