No, it's a college chapter of the GOP, not a mere club, it exists to further electoral aims of the national party. It's a legitimate question why a foreign national who can not vote is running a domestic political apparatus.

Bc political parties are not advocacy groups but electoral organizations. So why would a serious electoral org have as its head someone who isn't even franchised? Exceptions, of course, abound if a plank of the organizing aim, e.g. an ex-convict who is barred from voting advocating voting rights

I did this purposefully once. Ryanair then (maybe still too) let you adjust the times between booked destinations. Changed my 45 Euro flight with 1:45 layover to leave Paris at 6am and get to Dublin 8pm with a free day trip to London for two tube rides that otherwise would've cost me hundreds
