Tell Minneapolis City Council to Withhold Municipal Consent on Lyndale Ave
We need a design that creates safe and inviting space for everyone, whether we bike, walk, roll or take the bus!

This vital corridor deserves and currently lacks redundancy of anything nearing equally comfortable and safe infrastructure.

The backup route deserves hardened protection and sufficient driver signage.
With postings that the Greenway is closed starting October 14, it seems that the Nicollet Ave bridge over the Midtown Greenway is on its last week of life. Major progress in removal of the surrounding dirt.

Walking across a two-lane one-way street is terrifying. Even if one driver stops for a pedestrian, there’s a good chance another driver is going to get irritated, and zoom around them in the other lane. 28th St., 26th St., Blaisdell, and now Park and Portland will all share this dangerous design. 🤦‍♂️
Totally down with lane narrowing, but I feel like keeping these 2 streets 1-way will still enable the “in-town highway” speeding. Blaisdell was 2-lane 1-way and we had to knock it down to 1 lane to get speeds down.
