Reddit is flooded with small businesses owners getting crushed by tariffs — devastated by the thought of raising prices, firing workers, or closing up shop entirely.

I’m reminded it’s #FlightDeckMonday and I’ll participate even though my flight deck isn’t exactly awe inspiring. I’ll cheat and do two. First is fun because I’m in a steep bank over Grand Coulee Dam and looks cool. Second is my boring actual flight deck. #avgeek #GeneralAviation

#WingTipWednesday here with a quick clip from this summer where I got to fly my family from central Washington to Red Lodge, MT for a Yellowstone trip. This is over Butte, MT.

Had a break in the weather, so took the Cardinal up for a spin and knocked the winter rust off my flying skills. We’ll call this Mountain Peak Monday, that’s a thing right? That or I’m two days early for Wing Tip Wednesday. Columbia River visible.

I hate this trend in #Aviation. Not a great start to the year in both commercial or #GeneralAviation
Within the span of 90 minutes on Tuesday morning, two airplanes, at Washington’s Ronald Reagan National Airport and at Chicago’s Midway International Airport, were forced to abort landings to avoid collisions, federal aviation officials said.
Two Planes, in Washington and Chicago, Abort Landings to Avoid Collisions
The near misses on Tuesday came after a string of aviation disasters, including the midair collision between an Army helicopter and a passenger jet last month that killed 67 people.

Post your favorite places to fly into for #GeneralAviation - I’ll go first. Grand Coulee Airport is 3W7 and it’s set down in a valley with sheer cliffs on all sides, surrounded by water on both ends of runway. Offers $5 a night camping! #avgeek #aviation #flying #airport #pnw

Anyone attending the Northwest Aviation Conference? I've not yet attended but considering going this year, wondering if it's worth the visit as a GA pilot? Seeming like interesting safety seminars and other content. www.washingtonaviation.org/conference #avgeek #aviation #Generalaviation #pnw

Not sure how I missed this, but @sportys.bsky.social is in on AI to 1. Query AI about course material and do mock orals, and 2. Chat FAR/AIM regulations in natural language. The latter being a huge with how hard it can be to find material as a student. tinyurl.com/3nt44dde

Sad to see this.. especially since these types of airports get much needed supplies into more remote areas, smaller cities and villages. In the US, they’ve been the life blood of emergency services in areas like the Carolinas after hurricanes this year. #generalaviation #ukrainewar
⚡️War has caused significant damage to most of Ukraine's civilian airports, PM Shmyhal says.

At least 15 of Ukraine's 20 civilian airports have sustained damage since Russia's full-scale invasion began in 2022, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Nov. 30.

I’ll bite. My first photo ever next to a single engine airplane. This would later be my first ever flight, out of KRNT in a Boeing Employee Club rental. Writing checks to the sky ever since.. #avgeek #generalaviation

As an EV drive myself, while this isn't quite the truck for me (8,800 lbs!!!), I do love seeing longer range options showing up. This beast is capable of doing 440 miles on a single charger! www.motortrend.com/reviews/2024...

My most favorite thing I see when I take friends up to fly is when I tell them they can open the window. There's something absolutely mind blowing to people when they realize you can just hang an arm out the window and fly around. #GeneralAviation #Cessna #Aviation
