And it’s a good question, cause I feel the same way. I’ve done a lot of reflecting about beat coverage in particular since leaving the beat. I have landed on that I got way too far from understanding the fan experience (which made me condescending at times).

Ace doesn't like to be called AJ’s agent. He doesn’t like manager or handler, either. He prefers dad, same as ever.
And the best argument that he's NOT AJ's "agent": Agents don't often discipline their clients like a parent.
