Do it! You’d (maybe) be surprised how desirable your tech skills are/will be as libraries, archives, and museums transition into more digital environments and towards information management over records management. And some jobs will offer tuition remission or reimbursement, so could be a win/win.

But with web dev experience, you’d probably be an asset even without an MLIS!
