If gender-affirming care is banned based on a <1% regret rate, there are definitely some higher priority concerns that need to be confronted first given their regret rates:

You cannot simultaneously say that "distress is not a reason for body modification" and also support breast reduction, low T clinics, hair transplants, etc. If you use this argument only against trans people, that's bigotry, not medicine.

I've been able to handle the recent vet and mechanic bills, but $400USD on top of it is too steep. I NEED to get my legal gender/name stuff changed before Jan. 🙏
I'm an expat in Canada, so crossing the US border to see fam could be DANGEROUS for me w/o it.
