Today has been @royentsoc.bsky.social annual #insects as food and feed conference 🦗🐛

As always it has been a fascinating day covering everything from entomophagy, to insects as a sustainable alternative feed source, ethics with sentience, to the nutritional breakdown of different insects.

Moving into Oct with temperatures & daylight hours falling in Scotland, the "peak" mosquito activity season is passing. However, some species like Culex pipiens can still be found 'overwintering'; like this one our team found on #Arran yesterday. Let us know if you see any
