If you are a registered D or R you cannot change after 5/20. If you are unaffiliated you can change your affiliation at the polls and that change will remain in effect until you change it later. The key is to VOTE before we lose that right.

Thank you. If the person is not registered at all the must be registered by 5/20. They can only vote in the primary if they are a registered in one of the two parties recognized in NJ. Dems can only vote in the Democratic primary and a Rep can only vote in the Republican primary.

Though Rep. Smith did not attend, Sen.
@andykimnj.bsky.social did. Kim called on more of his colleagues to hold public meetings noting that town halls are tough, but people are suffering. & that more members of Congress need to show up and listen.

Smith’s support for Trump’s budget means $880 billion in healthcare cuts—gutting Medicaid, SNAP, & other programs millions rely on.

In NJ-04 alone:
🩺 147K Medicaid recipients
👶 67.5K children
♿ 9.7K people w/ disabilities

Union leaders, constituents, healthcare workers & advocates at the Town Hall made it clear:

New Jersey’s working families won’t be sacrificed for tax breaks to billionaires. It’s time to hold Rep. Chris Smith accountable. #SaveMedicaid
