Fast-forward 20+ months to this morning, and 🤞 we’re talking days? weeks? when it will open. Just curious, @electrifyamerica.bsky.social. ... Southwest Riverside County (along with other places I’ve traveled) can use more EV fast-charging options. And, @itskyleconner.bsky.social can 📍 even more.

So, in May 2023, I reached out to EA; they were good about replying – and said that they hoped to have the station online sometime that fall.

It didn’t. ... The charging units – seemingly nearly ready to use on Costco’s opening day – were pulled out of the ground during the next several months, moved a matter of feet, and then re-installed. 🤷

How “long-delayed” are we talking about? Well, the store opened Aug. 5, 2022. And, back then, EA’s 8 charging units in the parking lot said that ultra-fast charging was “coming soon.”

But, alas, it was not.
