All it does is incentivize the people that aren't already millionaires to cave because they can't afford to go without a salary.

Hahaha. Over 2k by 8:15am. Either a rough morning routine or work started really bad

I'm simply protecting the artifacts because they don't know how to properly care for them

Even worse when you consider that you'll be expressly forbidden from using AI during the interview and then be told constantly on the job that you should be using AI for everything

Why would you fire a top performer even if they have another job? If they're doing so well for what you're paying them that you're ranking them a top performer, why not let another company subsidize what you probably should be paying them?

Pretty sure everyone is older today

It was eaten to extinction. I'm guessing it didn't taste disgusting

I don't know. I've never worked with codespaces
July 2, 2025 at 12:12 AM
Because it's not good. If it were good, people would be telling their friends to use it. Q is easily the worst of the few AI coding assistants I've tried. Copilot is better and Cursor is way better.

And just like that, trees everywhere breathed a sigh of relief
May 29, 2025 at 11:25 PM
That's ridiculous. You just can't trust everything you read tomorrow. Basically it's like any other day on the internet except some of the stuff might be funny.

I'm not exactly clear how this doesn't open them up to a lawsuit

EVs aren't supposed to be a jump in technology like a car replacing a horse. They are supposed to be basically the same thing just using an alternative fuel that doesn't produce greenhouse gases when you use it.

Winamp was better

1) Mount drives on a root path
2) Replace the start menu with something like spotlight on Mac
3) Make the calculator work consistently in the start menu
4) Dump the registry
5) A better command line experience

How are Tesla and SpaceX competitors not up in arms about this? Musk getting access to sensitive tax information about all his competition seems like something they'd be very concerned about.

Isn't this just how airplanes used to work?

I'm not entirely sure why I've become so vested in the progress of this JS controlled Roomba but I appreciate the effort
January 20, 2025 at 11:08 PM
Yeah. This is a swing and a miss

This wasn't signing a deal with some fly by night startup with a new product. This was signing a deal with PayPal. It's understandable why YouTubers didn't think to dig into whether or not they were signing a deal with a company that would be committing some downright shadiness on all fronts.

Range is largely not an issue with the long range models outside of road trips which typically are set up in a way that you have multiple options for charging. Day to day driving is a breeze and dirt cheap if you can change at home.
January 2, 2025 at 6:08 PM
This is a needed change. I'm glad they did it. Prior to this you needed to go back and claim the old one
