Yeah, I guess it'd be more accurate to say that there'll be an uptick for a while until people work out ways to crack down on it.

Could the next trend in spam - annoy a million people with something nobody wants to play - reduce trust in games/Steam/etc. - just to get a few people to give them money. Just has to make slightly more money than it costs.

But none of it will be driven by people who enjoy making or playing games.

I think there's going to be a new wave of people trying to kludge together passable-at-a-glance garbage, hoping it stands up to just enough scrutiny to pay for the electricity plus a little extra.

Assuming there aren't already a ton of shovelware AI games - I'm aware of a couple of random ones doing AI voices or generated images.
