Zanger Rob de Nijs is op 82-jarige leeftijd overleden. De Nijs leed al enkele jaren aan de ziekte van Parkinson. De portretten die we samen hebben gemaakt blijven een mooie herinnering aan een fijn mens

A mudflat on the island of Vlieland, under a formation of clouds, which will remind you of one of Jacob van Ruisdael’s paintings. It’s one of my bestsellers at @galeriewvl.bsky.social and almost completely sold out.

I like Saul Leiter’s colorwork, particularly this one. Have a look at FOAM Amsterdam, until 23 April.

This new diptych is part of my ongoing series about the Dutch coastline near The Hague. Made on a very foggy morning, three weeks ago. I’ve been waiting a long time to capture this part of the dunes in Wassenaar. More information @galeriewvl.bsky.social

We have to embrace grayness this time of the year, I like it nevertheless. This specific image was made in the (temporarily) abandoned Zoo of Amsterdam. The birds seem to have their own little conversations while the public was gone.
