No one is ignoring that. You indicated that the phrase “rare instance” was incorrect, when what is rare in this context is someone getting convicted. Are there police officers getting convicted left and right for shooting people? No, I don’t think so.

I guess I don’t. No one was saying that the shooting was rare. They were saying the conviction in court was rare. I guess I misunderstood you
