@forbes.com where is the data to support rate cuts? BLS shows a slight uptick in inflation, and tariff pause ends next month, no? Powell is being cautious, which is the right thing to do with inflationary catalysts in the near future. This article has as much value as a fart in the wind.

That’s some American Gestapo stuff right there. How many ICE and PD agents to “deport” someone are present in this video? It probably costs significantly more money for this performative arrest than whatever perceived costs of being her as an undocumented person over her lifetime.

@schumer.senate.gov can you point to or publish the data that says this, hence your vote? Your words are as good as fabrications without any data to back it up.

Why talk about it? You need to do something, and hell with decorum. Privatizing a service meant for the people puts everyone at jeopardy, especially lower income, rural residents, and government orgs that rely on USPS will directly harm citizens.

It’s been many years, but I chose a mage back in the day as I enjoyed the blood mage hero in WC3:TFT. Fireballs all day every day! Imagine my surprise when I had to spec frost in Molten Core and BWL 🌨️

If I can be charged with negligence for making bad decisions at work that hurts or damages people (or the org), can we not start charging your colleagues in Congress for criminal negligence, or negligent homicide when folks inevitably die as a direct result of their decisions?

I also recommend this book to anyone that’s interested to see how a company’s vision that shifts from making the best and most beautiful product for their user to instead prioritize profits can erode the trust of their users and their employees, and the difficulties that creates.

I’m a major proponent of AI, but not incorporating it into federal systems so haphazardly. How do we know that, presumably, X.AI isn’t using this data for training (or other) purposes? Can we even submit FOIAs to see if any TPRM was done? Who can access this data?

Once people begin to save larger portions of their income rather than spend—or can’t afford to spend anymore—what happens to our economy? The value of the USD? Our investments or 401(k)?

USAID helped the US project soft power across the world. It was an important tool for America to build relationships and exert US influence globally. This is a major L for America and a major W for other global competing powers (China, Russia, etc), and a bigger L for US national security.

In fairness, your colleagues allowed this to happen by not passing legislation to cap financing in politics. Real change needs to start happening legislatively relating to: campaign finance; congressional investments; congressional gifts, tips, and favors; congressional term limits

Are they vowing with a stern warning or actually going to do something about it? Allowing this to continue only cedes more power to the executive branch, and puts our standing (and more importantly, trust) at risk from the rest of the world.

@schiff.senate.gov @padilla.senate.gov I’d definitely love to see you work with @wyden.senate.gov to investigate, rectify, and pass laws to codify cyber best practices at our agencies.

I’m hoping that you and the rest of the Senate are going to do more than an inquiry and write a strongly worded letter? Biggest question is where were the safeguards, oversight, and governance to protect United States cyber assets from unvetted parties?
