Dr. Melissa King in The Pitt isn’t your typical neurodivergent character. She’s brilliant, awkward, deeply empathetic - and finally, someone who feels real.

One of the best portrayals of neurodivergence I’ve ever seen on screen.

It’s been thirty years since we last spoke. When you reconnect with a long-lost friend, you have so much to catch up on. And you aren’t even the same people anymore. Is it worth it?

Been obsessing a little lately with finding some friends from my high school. That was... 30+ years ago. While I've reconnected with some (via FB), two in particular have no digital footprint I can find. Leaves me a little saddened.

There's one more big lesson I learned this week. You can't plan Covid safe gatherings by yourself. You need a family. If they won't do the work, then you can't have the gathering. It's that simple.

Look I know you have a lot on your plate right now and it’s stressing you out but I’m gonna need you to abandon it all to lie still and become unconscious for about eight hours and if you can’t relax enough to do that your brain will destroy itself and everything will be so much worse. Sweet dreams!
