I talk on the radio.
Columbia to Sapperton on the Skytrain takes you right down by the Fraser River. I love it.

The original Star Wars movie opened on this day, 1977 in 34 theatres. None of those theatres were in Vancouver. Our nerf herders would have to wait till June 24th for it to screen at the Vogue on Granville.

Aussie punks have a scratch-and-sniff record that smells like Gwyneth Paltrow’s vagina.
“$700 USD dollars to smell Gwyneth Paltrow’s vagina is quite frankly classist, and we at Private Function think that every working class person deserves to have access to the smell 24 hours a day.”

Happy Birthday Paul Newman. Would have been 100 years old today.

Was watching Cool Hand Luke the other day. Legendary film. They sure don't make moves like that anymore. The egg scene would bankrupt a studio these days.

The concert industry is broken. The elementary school website said this Christmas concert was sold out. The only ticket I could find was $538 plus fees from the school district official Christmas concert ticket reseller partner.

You guys are not gunna believe this. But the type of person that would park their pickup truck like an absolute degenerate is also the same type of person that doesn’t return their shopping cart.

“Thinking about my children and my children’s children, I feel like everything is getting developed and nothing is sacred anymore."
When local Surrey area resident Troy called the golf course "sacred," I really felt that.

Vancouver city councilor Sarah Kirby-Yung was DRIVING will attending a council meeting. Talk about distracted driving. Anyways, if you're wondering why the city's finances are in the ditch....

My wife turned to me during that scene in Wicked and was like, "that's the original Glynda and Elphaba." and I said, "uhhh they are both long dead."
"no, from the original Broadway musical you silly munchkin!"

I don't know why everyone is having a go at the 1975's Matt Healy's GF about her drinking raw milk. You can stick it to big dairy and the French by just rapidly heating your milk to at least 72°C for at least 16 seconds, then rapidly cool it and it's fine and safe.

I asked AI to make a seal for the 51st State of the Union, Canada. I think the four stars represent the only provinces that matter, BC, Alberta, Ontario and New Brunswick.

Also this horrifying Eagle/Beaver is 100% gunna be the big bad in my next Dungeons and Dragons game.

Tokyo Police Club is calling it quits as a band with a series of shows this week in Toronto. Back in April 24th, 2011 we invited a bunch of The Zone at 91-3 listeners to a hotel on the water in Sidney on Vancouver Island for a brunch and a performance from Dave Monk. That was a fun day.
