I finally had a couple of hours to paint Jobie from #Moonstone. His special move is "play dead." He also has an ability called "cunning plan" that lets him put down a moonstone he's carrying and then die (the Mortician can bring him back). He's hilarious.

I've been painting villagers for a minis game called Guards at Traitor's Toll, which involves you controlling city guard in a fantasy city who solve crimes and chase down suspects. Here are a few of the figures I've done so far. I have back stories for all of them in the alt text.

I've been having fun painting some Moonstone miniatures finally. I love scruffy little idiot goblins. Really happy with how Doug the Flatulent turned out. Enjoyed using some rust effects paints for the first time. These sculpts are just so expressive and Froud-like.

Tonight's Monsterpocalypse kaiju. I think maybe I went a little too green on those rings around the pustules. But hey, how many times do you get to type a sentence like that in your life?

A couple of slapchopped Monsterpocalypse Lords of Cthul kaiju that I think are some of my best MonPoc work yet. About 3 hours of work, not including the bases which I painted weeks ago in a big batch.

Tonight’s Kaiju is Armordax. He likes long walks in the park, deep conversation, and the sound a skyscraper makes when he knocks it over. This hunk of radioactive dino is WELL over six feet in height, so swipe right, folks!

I have had a lovely day painting various Monsterpocalypse kaiju. I was particularly pleased with how the OSL turned out on this one.

Started in on painting the actual Kaiju from the Monsterpocalypse STL files. I don't remember what this guy's official name is, but I call him Legally Distinct Godlike Lizard.
