Reach for the sky! Late Fall polypore/Ischnoderma resinosum is an excellent #mushroom if found young enough. I enjoy it. Take only the soft outer edges and sauté. It also makes a great gravy.

Waxcap/hygrocybe photo day 10: I mentioned yesterday that I love stipe details. This is the first really red waxcap I found, it was a dark day in a dark spot so I struggled to get the shot but I love the juicy red stem dotted with tiny black spots.
