I don’t necessarily have any authority on what the right word is but certainly “camping” can be replaced with “homeless” in most cases. People are surviving, sleeping, living, eating, trying to stay warm/cool/dry—all the human stuff but without privacy and a door to close. Curious your thoughts too!

It also deeply impacts the person driving, their family and friends, the family and friends of the deceased, and witnesses. I know from personal experience how devastating traffic violence can be for those impacted by it—and it ends the lives of some 43,000 Americans every year. Quite unnatural.
