It's simple. Everyone in the US enjoys the protections of the Constitution - even visitors. So if someone commits a crime here, you give them due process here. You charge them here, try them here, and sentence them here. You don't deport them to an offshore torture prison.

When they talk about privatizing Veterans’ care and Medicare, they mean allowing companies to provide healthcare for a profit.
But how do companies make those profits? By *denying* care to many who need it.

Health insurance companies are in the business of generating profit. The fewer claims they pay, the more they profit. So good business for them is denying anything they can legally get away with. Which is why profit seeking has no place in public healthcare.

Dems likely would’ve won the House 218-217 if the GOP hadn’t gained 3 seats by re-gerrymandering North Carolina.
GOP gerrymandered 3x more districts than Dems did nationally.
GOP in Congress unanimously blocked efforts to end gerrymandering in 2019 & 2021. GOP Supreme Court justices did so in 2019
