OK is it just me? I loved “fantasy escape shopping” on #airbnb with those lil icons for different kinds of stays at the top of the app. (Tiny houses! Pools! OMG!) This seems to have disappeared with the latest app release. Anyone know where these classifications are hiding now?

Ugh. 😑 The new #Airbnb avatarish cartoonification of the UI is just awful. Welcome to the further proliferation of bubbles and dumbness. I say this as someone who’s most-favorite emoji has bubbles and will make you dumb but in a good way. So I feel confident saying this is a bad way.

I too can’t believe Republicans in Congress are abdicating their duty to do the right thing and balance the power. Instead they’re endorsing authoritarianism, kidnapping, economic instability, global marketplace destruction, and hobbled NOAA and scientific advancement.

Media reports 30,000+ showed up in downtown Chicago today, and 3M+ across the US. The people are pissed off about so many topics: reproductive rights, due process, LGBTQ+, Ukraine, free trade, destruction of fed agencies, canceled funding for science, medicare, even the weather service! #handsoff

Attended a screening of The Here Now Project and met the filmmakers. Bottom line: Everyone needs to see this climate change documentary to really feel viscerally that it IS here now and we are all going to need courage, resilience, and collaboration to adapt to this new reality.
