I do agree that curation heavily influences availability and thus influences someone's taste.

I read your original post as two points: separating the work from the creator, and unintentional influence from curation. I think these two points can be independent, still. A parent giving their kid specific books, and the kid not caring about the author, can both happen or not.

Facebook is the armpit of stolen art on the Internet, I swear. Tarot cards seem like a lot of pieces to draw, so I have never considered it for myself. I love looking at people's tarot card sets though 🥹

Yes! Have you also struggled trying to explain the appeal of Alien Stage to a friend...? I'm also caught up on ORV only on webtoon English, so I just got to the demon king arc. My ACNH island is getting revamped still with castle items since 2.0 released... I'll finish one day.

I overlap a lot with you! I've been wanting to start Witch Hat Atelier. Only thing on your list I don't know is MDZS, but down to try if this list is a litmus test of things I have obsessed over lol

Never watched Aliens growing up and have been watching them this month. Just finished Aliens³ today. Moving on to the next one soon! I'm too scared to play the games, but I'll watch gameplay lol
