I try to see the human side of this, but for me, it was a shock. It shook something that has nothing to do with medicine, but everything to do with trust and dignity.

In such a vulnerable moment, patients need stability, trust, and the feeling that they’re not alone. When that is suddenly taken away it leaves more than just medical uncertainty. It leaves a sense of abandonment.
