And it is so wordy when needing to use it in a conference presentation too! Just about as bad as me having to repeatedly say E-E-A-T from Google's quality rater guidelines too LOL.

Yes, there are undoubtedly some great sites down in those positions that may tank poorly for other reasons, but the fact so many results are pulled from 50+ is astonishing. But it does let Google say hey AIO sites get more traffic than in the regular search results.

Yeah, it is kind of incredible that a lot of queries seem to have no "higher standards" being applied to when you see the urine kidney stones example. And also the thing @ryanjones.bsky.social said where a ton of sources for AIO are pulled from position 50 or higher.
