Ideally this will be 80% me discussing pro cycling with likeminded morons but there should be some other random stuff too.
If I revert to Swedish I'm likely irate about some local issue that may or may not be relevant if you live in Kansas or Kuala Lumpur.

This is why we all wish there was more drinking and alcoholism in journalism like in the old days.
No paywall on this one because I’m a bit drunk and I forgot to add it.

Just did a taste test and I'm proud to say that I, my neighbour and our bees made two excellent batches of honey this year.
On the right is the early harvest, likely with a lot of canola and chestnut blossoms and on the left is the more fragrant late summer one with blackberries and... who knows.

I'd prefer they hire a woman to DS the women's team but I suppose a guy whose doctor is a gynecologist is at least a step in the right direction?

Rest of the World 1 - Belgium 0

Guess it's back to the drawing board for the Belgians. Either build out the lift system on the Baneberg or aim for curling if they want winter olympic medals in the future.
The Winter Olympic Federations group of governing bodies says they don't want cyclo-cross and running added to the Winter Olympics. "Such an approach would dilute the brand, heritage, and identity that make the Olympic Winter Games unique" www.cbc.ca/sports/olymp...

First a divorce from Astana and now Israel-yada-yada, maybe PremierTech should try and work with some team that isn't a pseudo-nationalist program?
They seem like a brand determined to make a mark in cycling, maybe they should try one of the nice normal teams? There's still a bunch of them around.

Anyway, yet another reminder that "debate me bros" were always full of shit, and anyone who claims that they were actually about free speech or real discussion over ideas is lying or gullible.

This is why I don't think Hushovd will have much success. If it read "dreams of superteam with the next 🇩🇰 Vingegaard and next 🇩🇰 Pedersen" (or even Vingegaard & the next Pedersen)I would get it but building teams around riders in the autumn of their careers never works. It's oldtimey thinking.

My current plan is that someone else comes here and cleans up the chaotic mess in my tool shed and I stay on the sofa and read my book.

I haven't quite figured out the finer details of the "someone else" part but otherwise it's a really solid plan.

It's time to make that tough annual decision whether or not to commit to watching cyclocross over the winter.
Is Mathieu going to show up and ruin the thing this winter or not?

The real winner in terms of viewership figures would probably be the racedirector who sat down and studied racefinales from the last 10 years to figure out the precise formula for stages that are balanced so that they *can* end in a big sprint but there are chances for breaks & late attacks to work.
