Recording video at Camp Eyabsut in Black Diamond, WA, an event at the heart of the WSCFF Burn Foundation. An incredible opportunity to learn more about volunteers and counselors who have been a part of the program for years. Many of them burn survivors who would later become counselors themselves.

The Bad Axe Sisterhood got together to take a bunch of pent up energy, worry, and aggression out at the current state of things in the world. It was extremely cathartic. Feeling overwhelmed? Give it a try.

In WA, some ferries have a few puzzles out on tables on the upper deck for passengers to enjoy during the water crossing. I thought about how many strangers contribute to solving the puzzle. Each person working unselfishly to solve a problem without caring who will be the last person to finish it.

Never too old to reignite an art passion. It’s been 32 years since I last welded. Took a fantastic MIG welding class today from a teacher at the Hazard Factory. My welds were terrible but I had so much fun.
