Recording video at Camp Eyabsut in Black Diamond, WA, an event at the heart of the WSCFF Burn Foundation. An incredible opportunity to learn more about volunteers and counselors who have been a part of the program for years. Many of them burn survivors who would later become counselors themselves.

Today, there was math and setting levels, there was dirt, there was a run to the gravel yard, and prototypes were made. Stay tuned.

This is a quote from John Adams in 1775 in a letter to his wife Abigail. He was a staunch critic of unchecked executive power and believed in a system of checks and balances. Just a great reminder that this is what a Patriot looks like.

The Bad Axe Sisterhood got together to take a bunch of pent up energy, worry, and aggression out at the current state of things in the world. It was extremely cathartic. Feeling overwhelmed? Give it a try.

While I can’t be at the #StandUpforScience2025 rally on Friday, my friends and I are encouraging people to donate something to a science-based organization of their choice. There are a lot of orgs and foundations doing great work. Please consider supporting their very important work.

Losing NOAA would be devastating. Project 2025 authors want to get rid of it because it monitors climate change, and privatize the information it currently provides for free, so you'll have to buy information about the weather and the winds (imperative for mariners).

Never too old to reignite an art passion. It’s been 32 years since I last welded. Took a fantastic MIG welding class today from a teacher at the Hazard Factory. My welds were terrible but I had so much fun.
