It's pretty bad here now. Roads are closed. Cars are stranded and being dragged out by tractors and Landrovers.
Part of me thinks to leave them there rather than drag another one out half an hour later.

This is what I do. Bed until 30 minutes before event. Pull clothes on. Doze on sofa until the knock.

The roads here are done for. By midday the drain covers were lifting and water pouring out. Fields are flooded. One of the main roads has already been shut.

We're flooded in. We are fine but the roads around are impassible. Thankfully we'd already expected this when we moved to the country so we have supplies.

It was Aleve for my friend. Pennies for a huge bottle and lasts forever. She got me one but it turns out I can't take them. Bad times.

I love vegan food. As in, real food that happens to be vegan. I'm a lot less keen on some processed pea protein monstrosity.

I will say that a, I was ever grateful that my collie understood "drop it" as a commandment and would do as she was told and b, she didn't find what a friends spaniel did in the bushes.
Let's just say there are special bins for a reason in ladies rooms.
