Just in from mammoth interview session to two bits of news. One that a DV perp got locked up because of something I did and that a vulnerable constituent had a a massive wrongful debt written off after our intervention. This is why I came to politics, this is why I'll just keep cracking on.

This is tediously stupid now…

Really. Just stop with the idiotic headlines and the swagger and the EUphobic chest-thumping. Brexit is a shitshow. You know it. We know it. Even Trump might know it. Pipe down. Accept that you ballsed it. And leave us to deal with the embarrassing mess you all made.

As we’re all sitting in the wreckage of what happened last time govt was fearful of Farage, Labour must wise up.
Thinking you can cajole this hideous man into not having a massive tantrum is naive in the extreme. Let him howl and do right by the rest of us.

There you have it. Elon Musk enthusiastically supports the neo-Nazi party in Germany, which also happens to be the most pro-Russian political party in Europe.

Musk’s X is intensifying the radicalisation of the UK right. They loudly, uncritically support Trump. Johnson compares Labour with Harold Shipman. Jenrick rushes to use the Magdeburg tragedy for political ends.
They’re Musk’s useful idiots: envoys of hatred and intolerance. Incapable of integrity.

BBC’s Chris Mason calls Farage a “master of storytelling”
Maybe the BBC could stop helping him out and tell another story. One about a grifting prejudiced conman who’s wrecked our country with his ‘Breaking Point’ Brexit but has never been held to account for the lies he’s told, the damage he’s done.

Serious point: whatever Labour does re EU reset, it will get this puerile reception on the Right.

So. If you’re gonna cop the flack anyways, why not get something meaningful for your troubles??

‘Betraying Brexit’
Such a moronic accusation.
What does it even mean?
Having a functioning relationship with our own continent?
Not being diplomatically incontinent?
Finding ways to collaborate and improve opportunities, travel and trade?
Great.
Brexit betrayed us
Very happy to betray it right back.

Nigel Farage is owned by Elon Musk, and Elon Musk is interested in the UK because he can privatise our healthcare and make $800bn a year profit.

That is double his current net worth, every year.

Nigel Farage is the most sold out, corrupt puppet of the lot.

That’s not a comment on the substance of the allegation, or whether it justifies a level of attention that victims of theft/ burglary can only dream of.

But Pearson’s claim that police told her she was being investigated for a “non-crime” appears false, and was uncritically repeated by media & MPs.
