It’s is my dad’s 80th today. He’s active, fit, happy, & in love (wife number 5). He’s had such amazing messages of love from friends and family all over the world, I aspire to be like him when I am 80. His motto: “some things are for a good time, some are for a long time, they all have value.”

House hunting in the UK is infuriating. How does a 4/5 bedroom family home only have ONE bathroom in this day and age. And no fireplaces anymore, so your servants can’t even haul your tin big bathtub in front one to fill with hot water as an alternative 🤣 🛀

It’s funny because I do this as a parent of an ADHD kid, so she can steal/hoard/lose all my stuff and I still have a chance of finding one of the multiples 🤣
my favorite ADHD ~ hack ~ lately is just putting multiples of stuff absolutely ALL OVER my house:
- pair of scissors in literally every room
- meds in bathroom, the kitchen, office
- nail clippers (human and feline) in office, bedroom, bathroom
- phone charger in AT LEAST one plug in every room

Just messaged a friend of mine who lost their home in the Knysna fires in 2017. They also lost most of the cars from their rental business, but worst of all they lost irreplaceable momentos of their 5yo daughter who passed away 2 years before that. So feeling for those in LA 💙 #LAFires
