Quality childcare helps people work in addition to all of the benefits to the child and the community.

This is a travesty. We can not afford to not invest in our children.

Please tell your representatives and senators to save HeadStart and not allow it to be decimated.
Cuts and disruptions to two federal programs, which serve a few million children, may not seem like that much in the grand scheme of things. But the stakes are substantial, because of who these kids are.

Hundreds in the little ‘bury. Amazing turnout in a red district. At least 1/3 if not 1/2 of vehicles passing by honked in solidarity. #handsoff #protest #resist #nokings

For a self-described (if ironic) realistic optimist or idealistic pragmatist, this article really hit home.

No matter how many times I’m proven wrong that there is an inherent goodness in most people, I’ll keep looking for it.

But I might have to bury that tendency deep. Take a read below.
Simply believing that our leaders will do what is right is irresponsible now.

Trusting that everything will work out simply because it always tended work out in the past is a fool's delusion.

Every dollar helps to mobilize. I’ve donated just now which means tightening our grocery bill even more.

Won’t you?
We want to provide all the resources needed to make this mobilization as big and impactful as possible, but we can't do that without your help. From recruitment tools to training calls and promotional materials, we're counting on grassroots donors to help fund this event. Please pitch in if you can.
I just gave to Indivisible Action - Unlimited!

Economic uncertainty caused by a madman President impacts retailers in the US.

As retailers rolled back their DEI policies, consumers rolled back their spending.

A call from Biden in his farewell address to stay the course, to defend against the oligarchy, to keep moving forward, and to fight for our future, will help to cement his legacy as one of our greatest presidents, but only if we can be the keepers of the flame. 🗽
