Waverley, a new town in South Yorkshire, is built on the site of the Orgreave coking plant, where miners and police clashed during the 1984-85 strike. I went along for @insidehousing.bsky.social to see how developers approached its regeneration.
It was a coal mine, then the site of a clash between miners and police. We visit Orgreave to see how it has now been transformed
