With autumn in the air, one of the seasonal treats I enjoy making is @nigella.bsky.social's Luscious Vegan Gingerbread from Cook, Eat, Repeat. Beautifully spiced and moist - served here with boozy prunes and creme fraiche, but also great for country walks.

The hedgerows are full of fruit. After a foraging countryside walk picking wild plums, sloes and elderberries made Hedgerow Jelly, using Pam Corbin's excellent recipe.
