I wrote this, about Flesh by David Szalay. It is a brilliant book, one of the most worthy Booker-winners in years. It’s also really, really important. This post contains stuff about childhood sexual abuse and how we let down boys and young men.

A key victory in Trump's road to power in America was successfully branding the majority of its established press as "fake news". Now, he is bringing this across the pond to the BBC – where these same tactics are favoured by prominent politicians and media outlets on the right. A dangerous moment.

Because they built solar, and Trump is blocking it.

This systematic dismantling of public data is a deliberate assault on knowledge itself, a cowardly attempt to govern in the dark because their agenda crumbles in the light. It is the act of a regime terrified of being measured by its catastrophic failures.

A group of U.S. data scientists has published a list of federal datasets that have been altered or removed since President Donald Trump returned to the White House.

The president and his allies came after him.

Democratic leaders, by and large, did not have his back until the last minute.

He still won, turning out historic numbers and inspiring young voters.

His politics can win anywhere.
